Coventry-based analytical testing specialist Exeter Analytical has expanded its laboratory capabilities with the installation of a new Ion Chromatography system, supporting the company’s continued development and enabling it to provide a wider range of specialist testing services to customers across the UK and internationally.
Based at the Venture Centre, part of the University of Warwick Science Park, Exeter Analytical has invested in a Metrohm Eco Ion Chromatography (IC) System to enhance its analytical capabilities and meet the growing needs of customers across industries including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, environmental testing, batteries, aerospace, polymers, packaging and advanced materials.
The new system will enable Exeter Analytical to carry out analysis of a range of water-soluble anions, including fluoride, chloride, bromide, nitrate, nitrite, sulphate and phosphate. When combined with the company’s existing Oxygen Flask Combustion capabilities, the technology will also enhance its ability to provide total halogen analysis across a wide range of materials.
Founded in 1994, Exeter Analytical has developed from a specialist elemental analysis laboratory into a comprehensive analytical testing provider, offering a broad portfolio of services to organisations requiring accurate and reliable material analysis.
The latest investment will increase Exeter Analytical’s in-house testing capability, help improve turnaround times and further strengthen the company’s ability to provide responsive technical support to customers across a range of sectors.
