Innovate UK Grant Funding Competitions
Innovate UK have launched a number of funding competitions to help tackle industry challenges ranging from sustainable bio-based materials to aviation.

Sustainable bio-based materials and manufacture: feasibility study
UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2 million for feasibility studies to develop and improve sustainable biomanufacturing in the UK.

- Competition closes: Wednesday 1 February 2023 11:00am
UK registered micro and small businesses in the creative industries sector, can apply for funding up to £50,000 with a package of support to grow their business.

SBRI: Net Zero heat and power upgrades for demand reduction phase 1
Organisations can apply for a share of up to £5 million to develop data driven approaches for upgrading portfolios of buildings. This will accelerate the shift to a net zero economy and reduce carbon emissions, heat usage and energy demands.

Future flight: closing the skills gaps
UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £500,000 to develop upskilling initiatives that tackle the immediate skills gaps of the UK aviation industry.

Knowledge transfer partnerships (KTP): 2022 to 2023 Round 5
UK registered academic institutions, RTOs or Catapults can apply for a share of up to £9 million to fund innovation projects with businesses or not for profits.
