Colleagues and tenants across the University of Warwick Science Park have come together to support their Charity of the Year, LWS Night Shelter, with a generous collection of Easter eggs and food donations.
Contributions were gathered from across the Venture Centre, Business Innovation Centre, Warwick Innovation Centre, and Scale Up, and will be delivered to the Leamington Spa-based charity on Good Friday.
LWS Night Shelter is a volunteer-led organisation providing hot meals, safe overnight accommodation, and vital companionship to people experiencing homelessness or living in vulnerable housing situations.
The donations will be delivered by UWSP colleague Ian McFarlane-Toms, who also volunteers at the shelter, helping to ensure the contributions reach those who need them most.
Ian McFarlane-Toms said: “It’s fantastic to see colleagues and tenants across UWSP come together to support LWS Night Shelter. The generosity shown will make a real difference to the people who rely on the shelter’s services.”
This initiative reflects UWSP’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and championing its Charity of the Year through meaningful, community-driven activity.
