UWSP delivers festive cheer with third year of KidsOut support

The University of Warwick Science Park community once again came together to support KidsOut’s annual Giving Tree initiative this Christmas.

The Giving Tree campaign saw tenants and staff across UWSP, at The Venture Centre, Business Innovation Centre, Warwick Innovation Centre, and Blythe Valley Innovation Centre take part in supporting to bring festive joy to children in need.

This year, Warwick Science Park received over 300 gift tags from KidsOut, each one representing a Christmas wish from a vulnerable child. The response from UWSP’s business community was truly inspiring. From selecting tags to purchasing thoughtful gifts, colleagues and tenants showed incredible generosity and ensured that every single wish was fulfilled.

The enthusiasm across the centres highlighted the strong community spirit that makes the Science Park a special place to work.

Jane Talbot, Centre Manager at University of Warwick Science Park: “It was wonderful to see so many people come together to make a meaningful difference to children who may otherwise have gone without a present. We are extremely grateful to everyone who took part and helped make this year’s Giving Tree initiative in support of KidsOut another outstanding success.”
