Innovate UK Grant Funding Competitions

Innovate UK have launched a number of funding competitions to help tackle industry challenges ranging from energy and resource efficiency in manufacturing to farming innovation.

Future Leaders Fellowships: Round 10, business and non-academic

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £110 million for ambitious research and innovation projects in any sector, and tailored support to develop careers for future leaders. This funding is from UKRI.

ADOPT Facilitator Support Grant: Round 2

Farming, growing or forestry businesses based in England can apply for a grant of £2,500, to engage an external Project Facilitator to support the development of a Full ADOPT Grant application.

Competition closes: Thursday 24 July 2025 11:00am

MSI Improving energy or resource efficiency in manufacturing FS

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £2m for feasibility projects to develop new industrial digital technologies leading to a more productive, resilient and sustainable sector.

Competition closes: Wednesday 2 July 2025 11:00am

Commercialising Knowledge Assets Fund (CKAF) Autumn

UK registered government research organisations can apply for grants from £50,000 up to £250,000 to move viable public sector knowledge assets towards commercial readiness. This funding is provided by the Government Office for Technology Transfer (GOTT).

Defra Farming Innovation Investor Partnership

UK registered SMEs can apply for a share of up to £5 million to develop innovative farming solutions. This must align with private investment from selected investor partners.
