Grants Now Available to Support Growth for Warwickshire SMEs in Key Sectors

Warwickshire’s small businesses now have the chance to secure up to £50,000 in funding thanks to the newly enhanced Small Capital Grants scheme from Warwickshire County Council.

The scheme has been expanded to give ambitious businesses a bigger boost towards their growth plans. Whether investing in new equipment, expanding operations, or accelerating productivity, eligible businesses can access grant funding at an intervention rate of up to 40%—helping their investment go further. Applicants simply need to demonstrate their ability to match fund.

The grants are open to businesses working in priority sectors, that are currently receiving, or have recently received, support through one of the Council’s 6 components of their Business Growth Warwickshire (BGW) programmes (since October 2023).  As part of the offer, businesses will also receive dedicated support to guide them through the application process, making it easier to secure the funding they need.

Ian McFarlane-Toms, Business Ready Programme Manager and Access to Finance Lead at UWSP, said: “We are looking forward to supporting Warwickshire County Council to deliver their Small Capital Grant programme.”

“It is really exciting to be working with dynamic, growth focused SMEs in these key priority sectors. Eligible businesses that are successful in their application will undoubtedly be able to deliver tangible growth outcomes for the business and the region.”
