Dirk and Jane celebrate 25 years at the University of Warwick Science Park

This year marks a special milestone at the University of Warwick Science Park (UWSP) as colleagues Dirk Schaefer and Jane Talbot both celebrate 25 years of service.

Jane first joined UWSP at Business Innovation Centre in an operations role and is now Centre Manager at the Warwick Innovation Centre, where she’s known for her warm leadership and dedication to helping businesses thrive.

Reflecting on her journey, Jane said: “I never imagined when I started out at Binley that I’d still be here 25 years later. It’s been such a privilege to watch the Science Park grow and to work with so many inspiring people and businesses along the way.”

Dirk started his journey as an Export Marketing Consultant with Techmark. Over the years, he has worn many hats, and today he heads up marketing and business incubation at the Science Park, supporting countless companies on their growth journeys.

Dirk added: “No two years have ever been the same here, that’s what’s kept it exciting. I’ve loved being part of a team that helps businesses take their first steps and then go on to achieve amazing things.”

Both Dirk and Jane have made a huge impact on the Science Park community over the past quarter-century, and their colleagues are thrilled to celebrate this achievement with them.
