What is DigiSpin WM?
Digispin WM is a collaborative project between Coventry University, Birmingham City University, and the University of Wolverhampton. It aims to optimise the technology transfer process for spin-out companies, particularly those specialising in digital technologies within the advanced manufacturing sector of the West Midlands Investment Zone (WM-IZ).
Our Vision
To establish a best-practice shared Technology Transfer Office (TTO) model that empowers universities with smaller research portfolios to effectively commercialise intellectual property (IP) and drive economic growth within the WM-IZ.
Our Mission
To develop and implement a robust and adaptable framework that streamlines the identification, protection, and commercialisation of IP, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation across partner institutions.
