The brand behind the world’s first motion-measuring device has seen exponential growth and won several awards since 2019, and has now been recognised by the Financial Times and Statista.
For the seventh consecutive year, the Financial Times has announced the 1,000 fastest-growing companies in Europe — and Warwick-based Moasure® features at number 149 in the 2023 edition, ranking in 8th position in the Manufacturing sector.
This year’s list features companies with the strongest revenue growth between 2018 and 2021, a challenging economic period involving the Covid-19 pandemic and Brexit, a particular challenge for UK companies — Moasure® is listed in the top 30 fastest-growing UK companies, and is the top-ranking UK business in the Manufacturing sector.
Sectors include Fintech, Financial Services & Insurance, Advertising & Marketing, Automotive, Construction & Engineering, eCommerce, Energy & Utilities, IT & Software, Manufacturing and Wholesale.
Moasure®, the brand behind the world’s first motion-measuring device, was founded by Alan Rock in 2014 — and Moasure® ONE, the pocket-sized tool that has revolutionised how complex spaces can be measured, was launched in 2019 to great acclaim.
Moasure® ONE’ has cemented itself as a must-have tool for professionals in a wide variety of industries, including landscaping and hardscaping, artificial grass, concrete, construction, playgrounds and recreation, golf, pools and spas, outdoor living, and architecture — and that list is getting longer.
Having won a succession of high-calibre industry awards across 2022 and Q1 2023, Moasure® is most definitely one to watch, as its exponential growth is expected to continue throughout this year and beyond.
Located in the centre of England at the Warwick University Innovation Centre on the Warwick Technology Park, Moasure® is surrounded by fellow forward-thinking companies and great communal resources, such as conference rooms and breakout spaces — it offers a great environment for this innovative company to thrive, and no doubt helps to attract the right talent
to their growing team. It also provides great flexibility, with the business having expanded their office space seven times in the last eight years, to accommodate their increasing numbers. The facility also provides access to Business Ready, an innovative business readiness support package primarily for tech-based SMEs with the characteristics and ambition for growth.
On being included in the 2023 FT 1000, Alan Rock, Founder and Co-CEO of Moasure®, said: ‘It’s a privilege to be ranked among a wide variety of such fantastic businesses from across Europe – congratulations to everyone else who featured on the list.
‘From a Moasure perspective, our entire team has worked incredibly hard to make our product such a success, but this is only the beginning – our motion-based measuring technology is truly unique and is being adopted across the globe as the go-to way to measure difficult spaces. We can’t wait to see how far Moasure ONE can go, as we venture into more and more markets around the world. So far this year, we have seen demand and interest in Moasure continue to grow exponentially, with more and more professionals adopting an easier way to measure complex spaces.’
Mo Hussain, Co-CEO, added: ‘We’re absolutely delighted to have been recognised by the Financial Times and Statista. Through 2023 and beyond, we will continue to develop our technology and increase our sales globally. We’re very grateful to our customers for their feedback, and we’ll continue working hard to add new features and increase the capabilities of our unique measuring technology, to give existing and new Moasure users an ever-improving tool.’
Moasure® ONE– makes difficult measuring easy
Transforming how time-poor professionals measure all around the world, in various industries, Moasure® ONE’ really is rocket science – it uses the same technologies that are used in rocket guidance systems to keep track of the rocket’s movement in space. Moasure® ONE” uses the same principles, with accelerometers and gyroscopes plotting its position in 3D space, measuring G-force and rotation, and taking account of the gravitational changes with altitude and latitude.
It has the ability to transform the way you measure, capturing points and drawing 3D diagrams simultaneously in the Moasure® PRO proprietary companion app via Bluetooth – and without the need for phone signal or GPS. Users can measure spaces and have a fully-dimensioned drawing complete in the time it takes to walk around any outdoor or indoor space, then share diagrams with colleagues and clients, and export to design software in an instant.
Able to easily measure the perimeter and area of complex and irregular spaces, including circles, arcs, curved areas, and even recording elevation, Moasure® ONE” is unlike anything the world has ever seen before; there is even the option to measure multiple shapes in relation to each other, with a feature called ‘Layers’. Additionally, measurements can be taken where obstacles or absence of line of sight limit the use of traditional measuring tools; simply place the device either side of the obstacle to effectively eliminate it from the measurement.
The proprietary Moasure® PRO companion app offers users the ability to export measurement drawings in a variety of formats including PDF, CSV and DXF file types. The free-of-charge tap-to-export feature enables users to rapidly generate project estimates and customer quotes by sending measurement data to popular software such as AutoCAD®, Vectorworks®, MeasureSquare, SketchUp and others.
With an MSRP of £374+VAT, Moasure® ONE includes access to the Moasure® PRO smartphone app, with an optional, ergonomic telescopic pole accessory, Moasure® STICK, retailing for £65+VAT.
With Moasure® ONE–, professionals in various industries can dramatically speed up their measuring process, complete more jobs in a day, and more accurately calculate required materials.
