Innovate UK Grant Funding Competitions

Innovate UK have launched a number of funding competitions to help tackle industry challenges ranging from SMEs in aerospace to zero emission vehicles.

NATEP helping SMEs innovate in aerospace – Spring 2021

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £2.5 million to carry out industry-led civil aerospace collaborative R&D projects. This funding is from the ATI Programme.

Transitioning towards Zero Emission Vehicles: feasibility studies

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £7million to develop on-vehicle solutions that address challenges associated with the transition to zero emission vehicles. Funding is from Office Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).

Infrastructure solutions for zero emission vehicles

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £10million to develop infrastructure solutions that address challenges associated with the transition to zero emission vehicles. Funded by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).

IETF energy efficiency and decarbonisation studies, Spring 2021

Organisations can apply for a share of up to £40 million to carry out feasibility and engineering studies into energy efficiency and decarbonisation technologies for industrial processes.

  • Competition closes: Wednesday 14 July 2021 11:00am

Driving the Electric Revolution: Supply Chains for Net Zero

UK registered businesses of any size can apply for a share of up to £22 million for innovation projects focused on supply chain development for power electronics, electric machines and drives.

Farming Innovation Pathways (FIP) – industrial research

UK registered businesses and research organisations can apply for a share of up to £7 million for industrial research to address the farming challenges of productivity, sustainability, and net zero emissions.

  • Competition closes: Wednesday 28 April 2021 11:00am

Knowledge transfer partnerships (KTP): 2021 to 2022, round 1

UK registered higher or further education institutions, RTOs or Catapults can apply for a share of up to £6 million to help fund innovation projects with businesses
