Business Innovation Centre raises money for Save the Children

Last week Business Innovation Centre (BIC) held a Winter Networking Event, bringing together tenants from the centre and the business support team at the Science Park for a festive afternoon of socialising over a festive buffet lunch.

The team took the opportunity to take part in this years’ Christmas jumper day which is Save the Children’s annual event. It raises money for children in the UK and across the world.

Every December, millions of people across the United Kingdom put on festive outfits at their workplace, school or with friends and donate to help give children the magical future they deserve.

The team at BIC raised a fantastic £90 for the charity, to be matched by the UK Government.

Christmas jumpers were judged by a panel from BIC and winners rewarded with prizes. Huge congratulations to Rob from Axians who won the prize for the best Christmas jumper and runners up TalentTech Recruitment and Underground Surveys for their great team efforts.
