Innovate UK Grant Funding Competitions
Innovate UK have recently launched a number of new funding competitions to help tackle industry challenges ranging from transforming food production to the detection of heart failure management.

SMEs transforming food production: series A investor partnership
UK registered SMEs that are transforming food production towards net zero can apply for a share of up to £5 million in grant support. This must align with a series A investment. The grant funding is from the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.

UK and Canada biomanufacturing innovations in cell and gene therapies
A collaborative opportunity with the National Research Council of Canada on process improvement in biomanufacturing of gene and cell therapies

Transforming Foundation industries: Investor partner selection
Investors can apply to align their investments with up to £7 million grant funding from Innovate UK to make foundation industries globally competitive. This funding is from the ISCF.

Faraday Battery Challenge: Innovation R&D, Round 4
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £10 million in grant funding for innovation in electric vehicle battery technology.

ATI programme: R&D funding for smaller business, expression of interest, Autumn 2020
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £8 million to carry out industry-led civil aerospace collaborative R&D projects. This funding is from the ATI Programme.

ISCF Future Plastic Packaging Solutions
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £2 million for early-stage projects in smart and sustainable plastic packaging. This funding is from the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.

SBRI – AI supporting early detection and diagnosis in heart failure management
Organisations can apply for a share of £120,000 inclusive of VAT, to develop an AI tool to provide accessible heart failure data from routine patient information.

SBRI: Innovate at HS2 2020, phase 1
Organisations can apply for a share of £300,000, inclusive of VAT, to support HS2 through innovation in construction and design.
