Agency Continues its Midlands expansion

Suffolk-based Ambrose Went Curtis has relocated its design and marketing team to the University of Warwick Science Park’s Business Innovation Centre from the Saint Gobain building where it was based for two years.
The move follows a highly successful 12 months for the company in which it gained a significant crop of new business wins.
Managing Director, Stephen Went, said: “The business has performed extremely well and the need to expand meant that we needed more space and flexibility to develop our operation further in Coventry.
“We have recently secured major marketing, design and PR contracts in Manchester, Telford and Birmingham as well as significant new work from several of our existing Coventry clients, so we are determined to maintain this momentum by seeking further business in the area, particularly around Coventry and Warwickshire.”
The company’s core graphic design, production and exhibition team has been augmented with a new creative manager as well as the expansion of its conference management, PR and strategic business-to-business consultancy.
Went added: “When we first opened the Coventry office, our aim was to replicate our successful operation in Suffolk where we provide a range of creative, scalable and flexible marketing services.
“Businesses make differing demands on their marketing and we can provide the most appropriate creative marketing solutions, no matter how complex the task or the brief.”
Karen Aston, the manager of the University of Warwick Science Park’s Business Innovation Centre in Binley, said the company would be given ample opportunity to grow there.
She said: “We have a great track record of companies coming here and expanding.
“The flexible terms we offer on space here as well as the host of services means firms can concentrate on servicing their clients’ needs while we can help deal with the nuts and bolts such as answering the telephone.
“AWC will certainly benefit from being part of the Business Innovation Centre and we believe they will go from strength to strength.”
