Crowning glory of queen's award

A top business intelligence software development and services company, based at the University of Warwick Science Park, has won the 2002 Queen's Award for Enterprise for the International Trade category.
ASTRAC has received the accolade of the Queen's Award for its impressive performance in developing and marketing its data analysis software to 18 countries where it is installed in over 200 of the world's largest organisations. With global management and professional users running into the hundreds of thousands, non-UK sales currently account for 90% of the company's revenues.
Clive Titcomb, ASTRAC's CEO comments, "We're all simply thrilled to win the Queen's Award. Congratulations and thanks are due to our staff and their families, our customers, business associates and suppliers for helping us to win this most prestigious UK commercial award. We chose to move to the Science Park five years ago and it has either met or exceeded our needs particularly in respect of conference and meeting facilities, flexible accommodation, sensible leases, an excellent location and a full service environment."
David Rowe, Director of the University of Warwick Science Park adds, "Our congratulations go to the ASTRAC team. They were the first company to move into the Innovation Centre at Warwick Technology Park and it's a great boost to
morale having the company, which is succeeding so brilliantly, in spite of the prevailing economic climate in the IT sector."
The Queen's Award is the crowning glory in a year of achievements for ASTRAC. The company has recently scooped Deloitte's European Technology Fast 500, UK Fast 50 and The Sunday Times TechTrack awards for being one of the fastest growing technology companies in Europe and the UK.
