HTi Celebrates 20 years

HTi, the independent national educational charity based on the science park, approaches the eve of 2006 with plans for a year of celebration to mark their 20th anniversary.

To commence the 'Year of Business with Education' HTi plan to host 2 events.

Businesses: A Call to Action!'

Hosted at the DTI in London, in collaboration with the Small Business Service, Thursday 19 January 2006.  This one-day national conference will help participants shape a new generation of talent to meet future business need; and features leading-edge speakers including -

Sir Digby Jones, Director-General, CBI

The Rt Hon Alun Michael MP, Minister for Industry and the Regions

Ian Ferguson CBE, Chairman, Data Connection Ltd

and William Atkinson, Head Teacher of Phoenix School; and Star of Channel 4's 'The Unteachables'

'Learn as You Earn - Post-16!'

This Business Breakfast Briefing, hosted by BT at their state-of-the-art auditorium in London's St Paul's. It aims to help businesses and educationalists develop successful strategies for recruiting talent straight from school or college.  The Briefing features -
