Funding

As part of their support for the automotive supply chain, MAS has grant funding of up to £50,000 per project, 100% supported, for automotive manufacturers. This is to ensure the future of the automotive sector in the region, so that the region’s companies are in a stronger position to pick up work once demand returns. Grants can cover consultancy costs of supporting a change which the company can demonstrate is required to ensure it will continue to be a viable automotive supplier.

There are conditions, which are:

3rd party consultancy delivery, no capital
Each application goes before a panel
It has to effect change and has to be a strategic intervention
It’s short term, the scheme ends by March 2010
It’s for both SME & non-SME West Midlands automotive suppliers
No micro start-up businesses
It’s paid in arrears.

MAS have a great track record for providing sound, targeted, effective help and there is a big fund to access so if you are interested and we can help let us or them know.
